The History of Princeton Logistics Group

Princeton Logistics Group (PLG) has a remarkable history that dates back to 1985. Initially, the company operated trucks, vans, and twin-engine planes, providing transportation services to the financial industry, including the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, law firms, mortgage companies, and automobile dealers. As demand grew, PLG expanded its services to include pharmaceuticals and other time-sensitive verticals. With a fleet of over 400 vehicles and five terminals, the company experienced rapid growth.

In 1994, PLG was acquired by US Delivery Systems, a prominent NYSE company. This acquisition marked a shift in PLG’s focus towards handling project cargo for government, military, facility management, and manufacturing sectors. Recognizing the changing dynamics of the supply chain, PLG developed specialized programs to cater to e-commerce, middle-mile transport, air cargo, and cross-dock services.

Today, PLG’s second generation of leadership, combined with its extensive industry experience, enables the company to deliver a unique and comprehensive solution to its customers. By blending their rich history with innovative approaches, PLG remains agile and well-equipped to meet the evolving needs of the industry.

Our mission at PLG is clear: to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that exceed customer expectations. We achieve this by fostering trust, maintaining integrity, and demonstrating a dedicated commitment to keeping our promises.

PLG, rooted in humble beginnings, upholds daily values such as honoring commitments, nurturing team spirit among the staff and drivers, while contributing to veteran-related organizations including Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund, Wreaths Across America, and Tunnels to Towers.
